Youth-Driven Solutions

Young Cities gives young people the support they need to create initiatives focused on the issues most important to them.

Young people are critical partners in preventing and countering hate, polarisation and extremism. We help them overcome the barriers that can stop them from taking an active role as changemakers.

Youth Innovation Labs introduce young people to the core principles of project development and management, then provide follow-up support as part of a holistic training programme. The Labs enable young people to affect positive change while learning critical skills to help them in their future careers.

Youth-driven change, around the world.

By enabling more than 57 youth-led projects, Young Cities has supported real, tangible impact for communities most in need. So far, we have provided almost £250,000 in direct financial support to youth-driven projects that are delivered in partnership with local organisations and municipal governments. We believe in enabling future generations of leaders to be the engines of positive change, giving them the tools they need to tackle the issues they feel are most important.
